Hello my name is Lexie, I am four and have a condition called Spastic Quadriplegia which is a form of Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy affects the control my brain has over my body and all of my muscular functions are affected by this.
Being able to communicate is very important and currently I am able to do this using noises and eye pointing, although those close to me understand me, when I meet new people it takes some time for them to get to know my ways.
Following a consultation my parents had with my Speech and Language Therapist we became aware of the eye tracking communication system by Tobii. http://www.tobii.com/
This piece of equipment will be life changing for me and my family as I will finally be able to hold a conversation.
